I first discovered that yoga was a path I wanted to follow 4 years ago whilst studying whale sharks in the Maldives. Since then, I have continued to work towards sharing my experiences and the joy I find in my practice and completed my teacher training course in Hatha and Vinyasa with Rishikesh Yogkulam School in India.
I am formally educated in Marine Biology and Sociology and my heart lies with the protection of the oceans and its inhabitants. I believe that through greater self-awareness, we can become more compassionate towards those with whom we share this planet, and yoga is just one of the many ways that this can be achieved. I am an extremely active person and my knowledge and experience in multiple sports allows me to have a versatile approach in my yoga practice, and to adapt to the needs of each practitioner.
My teaching style and personal practice focus on muscle development and flexibility to improve the body's overall performance and well-being.
